Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) or click the floating "Ask" button anywhere in the app to slide open the agent drawer. The drawer threads the page you're on into the prompt — so on a document page, "what is this about?" works without naming the file; on a Collection page, "what's missing here?" knows which Collection.
The agent has typed tools for everything Kodori can do: hybrid search, read document text, list collections, grant or revoke permissions, create or release legal holds, set retention classes. Every tool call is logged to the audit log with actorKind="agent". A tool that mutates state runs the same permission gate a human would — the agent can't see or change anything you can't.
Unlike a chatbot bolted on top of a DMS, the agent IS the operations layer. The "Suggested by Kodori" panel on the document page is the agent. Auto-classification on upload is the agent. The hybrid search rerank is the agent. You can ask it questions, but you can also ask it to do things.
